最近入手した本の第一印象

Applying Domain-Driven Design and Patterns: With Examples in C# and .NET

『Domain-Driven Design: Tackling Complexity in the Heart of Software』をC#＋.NETで実現する技法について解説している。
という趣旨だと思われるのだけれど、内容的にはJavaをリファレンス言語・プラットフォームとして発展している最近の実務的なソフトウェア開発技法も併せてC#+.NETに取り込む内容になっている。
逆説的だけれど、本書でJava系技術の全体像を再確認するのも面白いかもしれない。

Introduction To Functional Programming, 2nd Edition (Prentice Hall Series in Computer Science)

『Haskell:The Craft of Functional Programming (International Computer Science Series)』と同時に発注したHaskell本。
ちょっとアカデミックな香りが強いようなので、プログラミング言語を学ぶには『Haskell:The Craft of Functional Programming (International Computer Science Series)』の方がよいと思う。

The Art Of Project Management (Theory in Practice (O'Reilly))

プロジェクト管理というとPMBOKのような工程計画、工程管理系の切り口が一般的だけれど、本書は管理業務を行う立場の視点からのノウハウ集となっている。そういうこともあって"The Art of"。
著者はMSでIEやMSNのプロジェクト管理をしていた人らしく、その経験を余さず語る、という趣旨であろうと思われる。

The Reasoned Schemer (The MIT Press)

『Haskell:The Craft of Functional Programming (International Computer Science Series)』や『Introduction To Functional Programming, 2nd Edition (Prentice Hall Series in Computer Science)』と一緒に発注したScheme本。
『The Little Schemer (The MIT Press)』と『The Seasoned Schemer (The MIT Press)』は入手済み。

functional programmingからrelational programmingへ。
functional + logic = relational?ということかもしれない。(未確認)
